The Ride to London 2016 is a wrap!
With close to 100 miles, and a lot of steep rolling hills, this was a challenging day on the bike.
This group had some grit, with all most everyone pushing through until the end despite the option to bail at any time.
Here are a few of the highlights. Thanks to all of the participants, Steve and Kristy and the Sunrise Bakery team, Lisle for providing coffee from Shuffle Bean Coffee, Berea Coffee and Tee, the Keller family, and Jimmy Flaherty, for making this a trip to remember.
The day started out at “The Bakery” – these guys are Good People, and treat their customers like family.
Ready to roll!
Crossing into Madison Co.
Lunch, and great service at Berea Coffee and Tea.
South of Berea we passed through some perfect back-country roads. Lake Linville, with it’s sparkling water lifts the spirit, before the mind games begin on the climbs near Mt. Vernon.
The party and campsite was worth the grind!
A hazy morning
Steve and Kristy at it again, cooking breakfast.
And the best part… good, happy people!
Thanks for coming!
